Server Fault now in public beta – Joel on Software.
Joel and his partner from StackOverflow have setup another site focused on sysadmins. Poking around it seems like most general/non-dev oriented tech sites: sophist debates over generalities and technical nitpicking over details so custom and unique that there’s no right answer from my environment for you.
Still, I hope it fleshes out and does well. I tried my hand at answering one question today and I’ll check back in every few days and see what else I can contribute. Take it from a guy who spent the last three days standing at a rack combing through 300+ page pdf’s off a small laptop screen, there is nowhere for sysadmin documentation to go but up.
